Is it radioactive steam which creates cracks in the ground in Fukushima?

Monday, August 15, 2011
A small number of individuals, including Chris Busby and Arnie Gunderson, have said they believe that an ongoing fission takes place in Fukushima. Commentators knowledgeable at the Huffington Post and Enenews have also stated their belief in continuous fission occurring in the plant.
This means that radiation is continually issued by the factory and contaminate the Japan, the Canada, the United States and across the northern hemisphere.
There seems to be considerable uncertainty on the place where the corium is actually at this point. There is evidence that at least for units 1 and 2 nuclei have melted through or based through the basement of the reactor building.

What happens then?

Is this the steam from the base which means fission from nuclei which are underground and could come into contact with water, producing explosions?
I really don't know the answers to these questions, but they are troubling.

In addition, the site I linked above has unconfirmed reports that there is a very large common pool of spent fuel to Fukushima that contains or contained 6400 spent nuclear fuel rods.

This is so terrible and it seems that every day we hear more bad news, which will become later confirmed.
